  • What should I expect if I come in for assistance?

    If you’re in a desperate life situation and in need of support, feel free to schedule an appointment or simply stop by. When you arrive, one of our kind and caring volunteers will sit down with you to gather a few basic details. From there, we’ll do our best to understand your situation and see how we can help—whether it’s with food, clothing, financial assistance, or household items.


    While we sometimes face limited supplies or funding, we promise to do everything we can to meet your needs. And if we aren’t able to help directly, we’ll always offer a trusted referral to someone who may be able to.


    No matter what, you’ll be welcomed with warmth and treated with dignity. We truly look forward to meeting you!

  • Do you take donations?

    Yes, we sure do!


    We accept donations of gently used clothing, non-perishable food items, dog food, blankets, brand new underwear & socks, toiletry items, and household items.


    Bring your items down during our open hours and we will take them off your hands. Before accepting anything, we do check to make sure clothing is freshly washed and clean, food is within date, and everything is generally in good condition. Thank you for thinking of us!

  • Is there anything you will not accept as a donation?

    Currently we will not accept cans and bottles, used underwear or socks, expired food (even if it’s probably still good), or used toiletry items. We want to make sure that everything we give away is in good condition and something someone might need.

  • How do I make a $$ donation to LINC?

    Click on the donation button on the home page, select LINC as your designation, and fill out the info. Thank you for helping us spread kindness to every corner of Madras!

  • Why can’t you always help with rent & utilities?

    Our rent and utility assistance program is made possible entirely through generous donations and grant funding. While we do our very best to help as many people as we can, the need in our community often exceeds the resources available.


    If we’re unable to assist you directly, please know we’ll still do everything we can to help—by providing a trusted referral to another agency that may have the support you need.
