OUR COMMUNITY IN THE PARK EVENT
Since 2007, our community gathers together at Sahalee Park on the first Saturday in August to provide one day of free services for everyone. Attended annually by several thousand community members, we get to enjoy a lunch and an incredible number of services at no charge. Some include: medical screenings, haircuts, clothing, prayer, entertainment, children’s activities, vaccinations, vet exams, and car washes.

Worship in the Park
The Sunday following Our Community in the Park Event, local churches come together in unity as one body to celebrate together in worship. Open to all, this is Jefferson County’s opportunity to build friendships across ethnic, geographic, economic, and denominational divides, and to grow stronger together as a community who leans on each other.

MONTHLY NETWORKING MEETING
Churches, community members, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies have the opportunity to regularly engage in crucial conversations at the Jefferson County Network monthly meeting. The meeting topics cover a broad spectrum including: homelessness, poverty, hunger, literacy, emergency preparedness, and wellness. We also discuss the services and solutions available to the community. The network meeting reflects the heart and soul of the community and the passion of its citizens as they come together to meet acute and chronic needs.
